Gyan Moorty ('20) shares with us his experience from his internship at the German Parliament (Bundestag) in Berlin (academic year 2018-19). He talks about his work alongside politicians from various parties, his meaningful contributions to the improvement of the German Health System and whether he has met Angela Merkel in person.
About the program: Students with a background in government, economics, and/or history, as well as fluency in German, may work as research assistants in various administrative departments or parliamentary committees during any term other than the summer. A monthly stipend covers living expenses. Students often do this internship immediately after spending a term on the German Studies FSP in Berlin.
